The grand rooms at the font of the hotel have panoramic views of the river Wye, across the Royal Welsh Show Ground and the hills beyond. The slightly cosier rooms to the back of the hotel are extremely quiet and very quaint.

Getting here from Birmingham and the West Midlands only takes 2 hours. And it's only about 2 from Bristol and 3 from Manchester.
