Fern Hill Orchard is a friendly, family run B&B situated in the unique ancient township of Laugharne, whose many customs date back to the 12th century. 'Sleepy, timeless seatown on sandy fringes of Carmarthen Bay made famous by Dylan Thomas. Has changed little since his time.'The B&B is within a short walking distance of Dylan's Boat House, Laugharne Castle and the Estuary, there are a variety of restuarants close by, and Broadway Mansion and Hurst House are only a short drive away. Guests are welcome to use the sitting room and orchard garden, which backs onto a park.Refreshments are offered on arrival, a full Welsh breakfast is included in the price - why not try our local delicacy lava bread(seaweed)? Special dietry needs can be catered for with prior notice. Also we can pick you up from the local station ?7 minimum each journey. Children are welcome, for really young children please bring your own travel cot.
