Just 18 miles from the coast it is an ideal location for enjoying the beauty of the area, be it Cors Caron, Cardigan Bay or the Cambrian Mountains. There is a wealth of opportunity for enjoying a variety of outdoor pursuits - birdwatching, walking, cycling and fishing being the most popular. Groups in particular are catered for. There are 2 public bars,15 comfortably appointed bedrooms, a dining room and large function room. To the rear of the hotel is a large beer garden with a landscaped patio area, ideal for wedding photos! The Talbot is well known for its live gigs held once a month on a Friday night by local arts society Wild West Wales, with artists such as Paul Young, Albert Lee, Chris Jagger, Meic Stevens, Heather Jones and Elin Fflur having performed here on more than one occasion.

From Aberystwyth turn left at Llanfarian onto A485 which will take you to Tregaron. Go straight past Natwest bank on your left over the bridge and the talbot is facing you on the Square.
