The Mumbles has a great name doesn't it? The 'Mumbles' are the headlands jutting out to sea topped by the lighthouse; but we like the name so much we use it for the whole of this lovely Victorian seaside village.
Candy coloured fishermen's cottages line narrow streets and yachts sail in the bay. Hug the headland road to find Bracelet Bay and Limeslade.
What's not to like about The Mumbles? With it's very own medieval castle, Victorian ironwork pier, Nature Reserve and all manner of arts, crafts, boutiques, cosy cafés and fantastic fine dining overlooking the sea ... and don't forget the four Welsh Italian ice cream parlours. Sounds like the perfect day out to me!
